windings and sealed for heat and corrosion resistance. Guaranteed for two years after original
purchase. * Core Charge: $35.00 per coil on these parts.
Core must not be cracked/broken to be allowed for credit.
Reproduction coils are NOT acceptable as core returns. We do
accept original Ford or early aftermarket coils for cores. All
cores are subject to inspection for acceptance before credit will
be issued. Unacceptable cores will not be returned to the
customer. Please check with us before sending your core if you are
uncertain about its use. |

Note:
Adapter fits on top of existing Ford distributor (replacing
stock coil) and includes coil wire and condenser. Customer
supplies standard can-type coil and mounting bracket for
remote mounting. See coils and mounting brackets listed above.
Points & condensers are not voltage sensitive but the coils
are. If you are using the 12 volt coil (External Resistor type)
you must also add a 12 volt ballast resistor to the circuit (see
resistors on Page 2). Standard 6 volt coils do not require a
ballast resistor. |

Note: The
21A-12106K kit converts any 1946-48 Ford two bolt type distributor
to a 1942-44 crab style. Simply remove the two-piece caps, the old
rotor, and the single wire bail. Install the 21A type pins and
side clips. Place the 21A rotor on the distributor shaft, then
place the 21A crab cap on the distributor body. Snap the two side
clips into place and you're done. Although it is not required, we
recommend replacing the spark plug wire set with the 21A-12259
type (see wire sets below). Add $7.00 to kit price to change to
the red 21A crab cap. |
