Note:
1932-41 fans are separate bolt-on parts. From 1932-38 (including
39 Standard) the fan was bolted to the generator pulley. The 1939
Deluxe plus all 1940-41 cars used a fan that bolted to the
crankshaft pulley. The 1942-48 car fans were bolted onto their
own hub & bracket assembly with 8 bolts. The 1949-53 car fans were
one assembly that includes the fan blade, hub & pulley, and
mounting bracket. The 1942-52 light trucks continued to use the 8
bolt fan with hub & bracket assembly like the 42-48 cars. The
1942-48 passenger car fans were usually 4 blade x 16"
diameter. The trucks usually had the 18" and 18½"
diameter fan blades.
