This photo from 1931 and shows Beechmont Avenue (looking west toward Eastern Avenue. The large building to the right appears to be an apartment or rooming house. In the distance is a commercial building located at the end of Beechmont where it ends at Eastern Avenue. This section of Beechmont was modified into "local access" when the viaduct was built over the properties on the left side of this road.
