This is Beechmont Avenue on the levee, looking west toward the end of the road where it crossed over the railroads and over Eastern Avenue, after the construction of the concrete viaduct in 1931. Beechmont Avenue turned into Linwood Avenue after the viaduct. This photo shows the existing height of the road bed in 1933 during one of the many floods of the Little Miami River that occurred over the years.
