This is Beechmont Avenue on the levee, looking east toward the old bridge over the Little Miami River. The bridge terminated at State Route 74, which was the old highway toward Batavia (before State Route 32). Turning right was the continuation of Beechmont Avenue going up the hill into Mount Washington. The levee was rebuilt after the 1937 Flood to raise it higher. 

This bridge was replaced with a more modern concrete bridge (the one in its current location a bit to the south of this photo). The bridge you see here crossed the river and ended at the current location of the Speedway station on Route 32 (formerly Route 74). Some of the concrete supports are still visible I think.
