This is Beechmont Avenue in Mount Washington, looking north towards the business district. The Methodist Church is clearly evident just beyond the rise in the road, and the Mount Washington Cemetary is located on the left side of the road in the picture. This photo shows the state of the roadway in 1930, shortly before the road widening and repaving improvements in 1931. The photographer would have been standing at the north end of Mears Avenue. The landscaped property on the right would have been the frontage of the lot owned by Dr. Langdon.
