Here we are looking south down Beechmont Avenue from Roxbury Street in Mount Washington. This photo was taken before the road widening and improvements done later in 1931. Again, we see a simple crowned asphalt roadway with no storm sewers. The old trees still line the street. On the right hand side is the Beech Hill restaurant, and just to the south of it is the Frugal Electric Company. This appliance dealer occupies the building of the old Colter Cannery Company.
