The business district of Mount Washington, looking south from Corbley Street toward the crest of the road at Campus Lane. Note that there were already sidewalks in front of the businesses and homes lining Beechmont, and all the old large trees are mostly still there. All of these trees were removed for the road expansion. The roadway is a crowned asphalt type surface with no storm sewer drainage. The tower of the Methodist Church is barely visible at the top end of Beechmont where the church sits at Campus. The state route sign for Ohio 125 is seen on the sign post on the right hand side of the road.

On the left side can be seen the light canopy of the Kroger Grocery & Baking Company. The store on the near right hand side appears to have the name "Beechmont Market" in the window. Numerous food bargains are also featured in the same window.
