This view from 1959 of Mount Washington is looking east. The intersection in the middle is Corbley, with Beechmont Avenue running left to right. In the upper portion of the photograph you can see the brand new Eastern Hills Elementary and Junior High School to the right. On the upper left is the large home subdivision created with Rainbow Lane and Coffee Street being the major streets. At the left side on Beechmont Avenue (facing the camera) is the Albers Supermarket grocery store at 2230 Beechmont. Directly across the street is the Elstun Theater.
