Another aerial photo of Mount Washington from 1959. Here we are looking generally east, with Beechmont Avenue running left to right. Campus Lane is at the far right. In the middle is Plymouth Avenue which crosses Oxford and ends at Beechmont. The ECKERTS store (the one with the large dark flat roof in the middle of the photo) had a vertical sign with the name. Just to the south of the wooded area on the right is the property of buildings of T. P. White Funeral Home. Judging from the empty look of the Socony Gas Station next to T.P. White & Sons, it may already have been vacated. This lot was purchased by Fifth Third Bank for the expansion of their parking lot.
